I love a good sandwich. Whenever I have a full day ahead of me, packing a sandwich is my surefire way to ensure a solid lunch. 고등학교 때 학교근처에 가까운 식당이 4곳 있었어요. 더 휘슬 스탑 카페, 윈저 75 다이너, 조반니스 레스토랑, 유니언 스트리트 터번.
하지만, 이 말이 틀렸는게, 윈제에 식당이 5개 있었거든요! 제가 돔스 브로드 스트리트 이터리라는 식당을 잊어버렸어요! 12월 29일에 제가 거기로 갔어요.

채식주의자는 한국에서 사는 것이 어려운 것 같아요. 한국 음식 중에는 고기가 들어간 요리가 많은데 채식주의 요리가 많지 않아요. 사찰 음식은 채식주의인데 비싸고 흔하지 않아요. 그리고, 대부분의 외국인이 김치찌개를 처음 접하면 채식주의 찌개라고 생각하는데 김치찌개 국물에는 고기가 들어가요. 채식주의자인 반친구가 저한테 이태원에 있는 채식주의 및 비건 식당 플랜트에 가자고 자주 했어요. 그래서 9월 16일에 친구들과 거기로 갔어요.

Life for vegetarians in South Korea can sometimes be challenging. While there are some traditional vegetarian options available, such as Buddhist temple cuisine, most South Korean entrees involve meat. Even seemingly vegetarian dishes, such as kimchi jiggae (김치찌개) or kimchi stew uses meat in the broth.
